SMART YOUTH PROGRAM

SMART-YMM Program is a SMART College CSR initiative to assist the less fortunate youth living in poverty through various direct engagement programs. The primary objective is to strengthen their self-confidence; to encourage silent and withdrawn kids to interact with zest; to help them break social barriers, to dare them to try new things and mostly to encourage them to challenge their status quo.

SMART-YMM 2018 Program involves selecting 100 youth of ages between 15-17 from various PPR flats to be mentored by 100 SMART College students through 20 week-end engagements running from February till November. This journey by mentors involves creating study groups for mentees during exam periods; participation in SMART College extra-curricular activities and social-cultural trips within Kuala Lumpur for mentors to develop character, leadership, and service.
